Berätta gärna i kommentarerna!

Kram Claudia

I’m a 100% night owl, but my goal for 2018 is to become more comfortable waking up earlier. I believe it’s important to make the morning something to look forward to & fill it with good habits. I always start my day drinking something anti-inflammatory such as:

A cup of hot lemon water (great detoxing properties & wakes the body up)

Fatty/Bulletproof coffee (a small spoon of ecologic coconut oil in a coffee, feels very purifying)

Fresh water with a little bicarbonate (oxygenates the body & great for skin).

After drinking this, I love to take a hot shower & then gather some inspiration for the day while having my breakfast, I often have the Swedish TV-show Nyhetsmorgon on in the background or listen to some podcast I like or read articles. For breakfast, I like to eat a lot, I love smoothie bowls & plant based sandwiches with things like fresh or sun dried tomatoes, vegan cheese or mayo, olives, ruccola, cucumber.

When that's done, I always put on some music I really love start to get dressed & put on my make up.

Something I always disliked is alarm clocks, if I need to wake up early every day, I prefer to just let the window blinds open & wake up from the light letting the body adapt & find it’s own rhythm. Jumping out of bed directly can be a huge stress for the nervous system, always take at least a few moments to strech.

I also really recommend to find some kind of mindfullness or meditation routine to do in the morning! If you wake up & aren’t in the best mood, this can really turn your whole day around! It’s said that the last thought you have before falling asleep in the night is what your mind will be focusing on & will set your mood when you wake up. Really something to consider!

Are you a morning or a night person? What are your morning routines, do you have something you recommend? Let me know below!

Love, C

Post in collab with Pixers

When I was in New York I saw lots of beautiful street art in Little Italy among other areas & it inspired me to find some art to put on my still empty walls at home. I moved in last year in June without having seen the apartment beforehand but fortunately fell in love with it & the neighbourhood straight away. What I didn't like so much was the wallpaper but I have focused on getting the main furniture in place first such as sofa, pillows & workspace. Now when all of that has started to come together I have checked out some options for the wall decorations on Pixers. I like the structure of the website, you can choose between Themes, Destinations & Style for either paintings, wallpapers & decorations. Personally I'm a fan of the industrial style with a lot of softness & abstract shapes. Since I also have a home office corner in the living room I find it important to have a creative atmosphere there. Here you can see some art I like from the website: https://pixers.se/alla-tavlor-och-posters/industriell Love, C

Violife veganska ost i smaken smoked flavour

1 tomat

4 svampar du gillar, t.ex. shiitake

2 vitlöksklyftor

En skvätt olivolja

Salt

Häll i ca 7,5 dl vatten i pannan.

Skär ca 50 gram vegansk ost i kuber. Klart! Njut av din veganska rätt <3

When you want to eat something vegan but lack inspiration, this is the perfect plate! It turned out super tasty and is so fast to put together. You need:

100 grams of cornmeal

1 red onion

Violife vegan cheese with smoked flavour

1 tomato

4 mushrooms you like such as shiitake

2 pieces of garlic

Olive oil

Salt

Fry the 2 pieces of garlic in about 3 spoons of oil, then add half a chopped onion. Chop the mushrooms in chunky slices and add them to the pan together with salt, leave it for about 10 minutes on medium heat with a tap. Stir every 2 minutes. Meanwhile you take the other half of the onion and chop it into slices & chop a whole tomato, put this to the side. Now you remove half of the mushrooms (you will use them later for decoration), add 750 ml of water to the pan. Add 100 grams of cornmeal little by little with a spoon & spread it evenly while stiring. Once it starts to boil, turn down the heat to minimum & tap. Stir every minute, after 5 minutes it will be ready, put it to the side with a tap.

Take half of the chopped onion & put it in a recipient. Add 50 grams of vegan cheese chopped in squares. Now you add the polenta mix & stir around. Use the mushroom & rest of the chopped onion on top as decoration. Done! Enjoy your vegan meal <3

Hi there and happy Wednesday, hope you're doing well! Here in Stockholm the weather is quite terrible as all the snow is melting outside, so I took the occasion to cozy up at home with a cup of coffee & check out my favourite webshops! Here above I've put together a collage with some of my favourite picks at the moment. I love the contrast between an oversized biker jacket, romantic hair pieces and ankle boots. When it comes to pants, I l almost always go for wider ones when I buy online because it's much easier to find the right model without so much guesswork. The grey handbag is the pefect size for everyday use & would look so good with the puffy jacket. Wish you a lovely evening! Love, C

Kram Claudia

Something I love in the winter is to take refreshing fast powerwalks with a hot bath when returning home. Here in Stockholm there are lots of nice places near the water where you can escape the traffic for a little while and enjoy the winter sunlight (the sun goes down already at 15.00 this time of the year). I currently wear a lot of fluffy cardigans and loose fit pants as they are so comfortable and easy to combine. I also like to mix materials like silky, velvet, shiny and more matte textures in the outfits! Here are the details of my look: Trousers: Gina Tricot (click!) / Top: Gina Tricot (click!) / Cardigan: Gina Tricot (click!)

Hope you had a great start of the year so far!

I spent the third Christmas day walking around in the Old Town here in Stockholm, it’s so cozy this time of the year. My dusty pink outfit comes from Gina Tricot, I love the cardigan because it feels really soft & not sticky at all. Shoes from Zara! I’m obsessed with these & use them almost every day. Love, C

Here’s a collage with some outfit inspiration for New Years Eve! When it comes to jackets, I would go for either a faux fur one in a soft colour or a silky one that brings out the silhouette more, this mostly depends on the model of the dress & how much volume it has. I love rusty brown metallic shades at the moment & would opt for either colorful shoes to a dark dress or simpler, more classic models with a lower heel but maybe in a different material such as velvet, & put accent on the outfit through the accessories. My favourite item in the collage is the violet velvet maxi dress (nr 5) because it's not too tight & easy to combine with ankle boots to give an effortless while still glamorous look! Let me know what kind of collages you would like to see here in the blog! Love, C

Here are some snapshots of what I’ve been up to lately! I love the period right before Christmas with all the decorations, cozyness & excitement in the air. I also enjoy taking some time for myself to build up motivation, inspiration & goals for the year to come.

Me being happy a Saturday before going out to eat Ramen.

Christmas decorations on Plaza Sant Jaume

Probably my last breakfast on the balcony for this year, from right before the temperature went up...

I start my day with a croissant & black coffeee as often as possible.

A cozy street in the Old Town <3

I eat hummus with vegetables every other day, such an easy & healthy snack.

A chai latte with oat milk & lots of cinnamon the other day at my favourite café.

Last week I went to a city I’ve been wanting to explore more for a while, Copenhagen! This post will be about my favourite spots I discovered there.

The first day we went to have brunch at a place called Mad & Kaffe in Vesterbro. The dishes were really tasty & the place was lively with nice interior. As I'm trying to go over to a completely vegan diet, I had their avocado toast which was a great choice.

After a lot of walking around the city & a boat tour (Very recommended thing to do in CPH), we ended up at another really nice place called The Union Kitchen. The service there was just awesome. I had a stuffed croissant & fries with aioli.

Later that night we decided to move on to discover Vesterbrogade close to where we stayed. I had read some reviews about this Vietnamese place called Lele so we went in there. The food was nothing special but the place had a nice cosmopolitan vibe.

The next day we woke up early & visited the Design Museum, the National Museum & the Amalieborg castle. If you plan to make a lot of cultural visits I can recommend the Copenhagen Card that also includes public transport & some guided tours.

I really enjoyed the fashion section at the Design Museum! So many beautiful creations & a dive into danish fashion history.

After that, we went to have dinner at Guldsmeden Hotels. Their forest berry sorbet was incredible.

The next morning, I wanted to try a brunch place I had seen being recommended, Atelier September. The place was pretty but probably a bit overrated.

After a couple of hours I got a craving for Vietnamese food again & randomly found District Tonkin! This place was amazing. Definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed Copenhagen & wish to visit again during a warmer season. It’s a great place for you who are interested in culture, interior design, architecture, fashion & food.

Hey there and happy Saturday, I feel happy and excited you have found my new blog! Sharing a few shots from yesterday's look. Have to say I have a total crush on the velvet trend for this fall, it just feels so glamorous even on a normal weekday. This is a dark green dress with hood that I immediately felt like combining with big earrings and combed back hair. Let me know what you think! Talk soon again! 💋
