Last week I went to a city I’ve been wanting to explore more for a while, Copenhagen! This post will be about my favourite spots I discovered there.
The first day we went to have brunch at a place called Mad & Kaffe in Vesterbro. The dishes were really tasty & the place was lively with nice interior. As I'm trying to go over to a completely vegan diet, I had their avocado toast which was a great choice.
After a lot of walking around the city & a boat tour (Very recommended thing to do in CPH), we ended up at another really nice place called The Union Kitchen. The service there was just awesome. I had a stuffed croissant & fries with aioli.
Later that night we decided to move on to discover Vesterbrogade close to where we stayed. I had read some reviews about this Vietnamese place called Lele so we went in there. The food was nothing special but the place had a nice cosmopolitan vibe.
The next day we woke up early & visited the Design Museum, the National Museum & the Amalieborg castle. If you plan to make a lot of cultural visits I can recommend the Copenhagen Card that also includes public transport & some guided tours.
I really enjoyed the fashion section at the Design Museum! So many beautiful creations & a dive into danish fashion history.
After that, we went to have dinner at Guldsmeden Hotels. Their forest berry sorbet was incredible.
The next morning, I wanted to try a brunch place I had seen being recommended, Atelier September. The place was pretty but probably a bit overrated.
After a couple of hours I got a craving for Vietnamese food again & randomly found District Tonkin! This place was amazing. Definitely recommend it!
I really enjoyed Copenhagen & wish to visit again during a warmer season. It’s a great place for you who are interested in culture, interior design, architecture, fashion & food.
